#savebcfilm message
Just a note to those that are new to our #savebcfilm campaign. We are not looking for money FROM the government; we are looking for the government to give a bit more BACK to those that SPEND money here. Give more back, have more spent. The "money" does NOT come from government general revenue. We aren't taking money from schools and hospitals. We must be clear on this point. At this point, the government and private businesses are getting next to nothing from our industry. This is directly due to the tax CREDIT difference from other regions in Canada and abroad. #savebcfilm @christyclarkbc @bcliberals #educate#stayonmessage #washrinserepeat

Fun day at work!
Well, it has certainly been a "grind" filming at Grouse! Trucks at the bottom, set at the top.(?) 2 more days to go & I'm still not sure what we're shooting tomorrow! The view is absolutely staggering! I'm embarrassed to say, this is the first time I've been here since I moved to Vancouver in 1991. What have I been doing with my time?! Well, back to shuffling gear from place to place in an attempt to keep from going too crazy!

Mexican steals US Government Blackberries!
Wow! I just read this story & it made me laugh SO hard. A member of the Mexican delegation at the Summit in New Orleans made off with 6 or 7 Blackberries belonging to various members of the US delegation. I don't know how to stop laughing at this point. The Mexican made it to the airport where he was confronted by Secret Service for questioning. They showed him the video of him pocketing them and he claimed it was an accident. He has since been fired. One would think that there would be a security official posted at the table during the conference to ensure the safety of the devices. US officials are unsure if any of the data from the stolen devices was copied or not. Wow. Are you still laughing? I just pee'd a little. This from a country that pounds its' chest about the security and safety of its' citizens. They can't even keep tabs on their own phones! Bye for now.
